Bollards International Ltd is part of the IFS Group situated at Roydon in Norfolk. The parent company works to high standards of quality in all aspects of the manufacturing process. It has the recognised quality standards ISO9001:2000 and QS 9000 and all subsidiaries work to exacting industry requirements.

The Company is also a member of the British Rubber & Polyurethane Products Association (BRPPA).

Bollards International evolved from a meeting of two men with very different backgrounds - Tony Taylor and Dr Barrie Colvin.

Tony Taylor is no newcomer to the street furniture market and has over 12 years hands-on experience of the sector.

In particular he has been instrumental in the early development of polymer street furniture, including bollards. Known in the business as 'Mr Bollard' he has been involved in designing, specifying, manufacturing and installing bollards for some considerable time.

Dr Barrie Colvin has over 30 years experience in developing high-performance polyurethanes for a mulititude of applications with clients such as Rolls-Royce, Jaguar, Ford, Aston-Martin. He has presented papers at a number of international conferences on the topic of polyurethanes.

He currently leads a group of development chemists/engineers who are at the forefront of this dynamic and versatile industry.
