Although the Bollards International extensive range of bollards and street furniture have the appearance of cast iron products, they are all manufactured from specially formulated polyurethane. This means the bollards and railing at Deganwy Quay will not chip or rust, or become weakened by constant exposure to salt water and the UK weather, and will therefore require very little maintenance.
Deganwy Quay also features over 100 executive houses and apartments, all of which up to phase 3 of the development have been sold, with the residents already including a number of high profile names form the world of sport.
Bollards International is part of the IFS Group, the well known chemical systems house, and Managing Director Barrie Colvin is particularly pleased that the company has won this contract, saying: "We won this contract from the development company Knightsridge XX Limited against stiff competition from traditional cast iron bollard manufacturers, with durability and low maintenance costs playing a major part in the product selection process."
