Bollards International signs the way in Dulwich

As a part of general upgrading, and in a drive to de-clutter the pavements of Dulwich, the London Borough of Southwark has awarded Bollards International a prestigious £25,000 contract to supply free standing street sign holders, of which over 50 off have already been installed.

Bollards International is the highly respected street furniture manufacturer which manufactures its products in a polyurethane material produced through the regeneration of used vehicle tyres. Southwark is one of the UK s local authorities leading the way in the use of street furniture produced using this Enviro-cast™ material. The Council has already invested in a wide range of bollards and cycle stands, and its streets also feature poleards, a new bollard product having an aperture in the top for the insertion of an extended pole carrying Home Zone signs, or others which need to be at a prominent height, all manufactured from Enviro-Cast.

Bollards International Managing Director Dr Barrie Colvin is delighted with the introduction of the company s products in the London Borough of Southwark, saying:

The new street furniture installed on the pavements of Dulwich is virtually maintenance free and very hardwearing. The street sign holders will be displaying street and road names around Dulwich for many years to come, whilst its cyclists can be sure of the safety of their bicycles in the new cycle stands.
